Speed up menu display in windows 7 start menu

Delay time display in the windows 7 start menu by default in the settings by the windows at number 400 ms. You can change it to be faster so that when you move from a start menu item to other items will be visible effects rather quickly shift from the standard speed. Changing this delay time (the menu show delay) will not damage the windows.

To change the menu show delay STARTMENU windows 7 start menu for faster display can perform the following procedure

1. In search box type regedit, then enter


2. Open the directory Computer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop
Double click on the menu show delay in the dialog box that appears, change the value data value from 400 to 0 or 1
Click OK
