Windows has a simple facility to capture (screenshot) or the record display on the desktop, namely PrintScreen. Simply by pressing the "Print Screen SysRq" is sometimes also written "PrtSc SysRq" then the picture or display on the desktop will be recorded in the Windows clipboard. The result is a plain image files jpg, bmp or other image formats.

In the discussion this time windows xp tutorial, we will try to capture the view calculator.

1. Activate the calculator program, initially display as below

2. press the PrintScreen button on your keyboard (to start the capture image)
3. open the Paint application, then on the keyboard press the Ctrl + V (Paste)
Paint on the toolbox, click the select button area (red box), click and drag to select all display calculator

4. On the keyboard press the Ctrl + X (Cut)
5. Paint on the menu bar, select File => New
6. On the keyboard press the Ctrl + V (Paste)

If size is not equal to the size of background images, mouse (pointer) to the lower right corner, wait until the two-way arrow and slide the mouse to adjust the size of the background to match the size of the image.

7. Having the same size, press the Ctrl + S, or in the menu bar and select File => Save, select the type jpg format.

Actually there are some applications you can use, the more easy and practical as Screengrab and FastStone Capture. My favorite software for capturing the desktop is FastStone Capture.
